The humanitarian organization "Arzte der Welt" is the German division of the international network "Doctors of the World" (Medecins du Monde/Doctors of the World (MdM)).
The MdM network consists of 17 public organizations united by a common vision: a world where health is recognized as a fundamental human right.
Our network implements more than 400 programs, both national and international, in more than 70 countries of the world. Around the world, we provide access to quality health care for people whose health is at risk.
MdM provides emergency medical care in the conditions of disasters and crisis situations, joins efforts to ensure universal access to medical care and, if possible, helps in recovery measures. MdM Germany ensures that its health services are provided on equal terms to the most vulnerable citizens, refugees, internally displaced persons and host communities, regardless of their ethnic and social origin, religious or political beliefs. We provide support, promote and advocate for social change, and fight injustice.
