System administrator (Dnipro) in EVA – liniya magaziniv

We invite to our team a system administrator who will help maintain the stable operation of the IT infrastructure and ensure the efficient operation of stores in the region.

Requirements for the candidate

• Experience of from 2 years in a similar position (system administrator, IT support specialist).

• Desirable experience of work in a retail network or a company with a distributed branch structure.

Knowledge and skills required

• Working with databases: executing queries, updates and running existing scripts.

• Understanding and practical experience with network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.

• Operating systems: solid knowledge of Windows (workstations and server OS), Linux administration experience.

• Skills in diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software malfunctions.

• Experience with scripts for automating routine tasks.

• Ability to communicate clearly and understandably with users.

• Responsibility, independence and the ability to self-organize.

• Readiness for business trips around the region

Main duties

• Optimization of IT infrastructure: analysis of the current state, preparation of recommendations for improving the efficiency and reliability of IT systems in stores.

• Visits to locations: conducting audits of the IT infrastructure of stores, identifying problems and preparing plans for their elimination.

• Restoration of workstations: diagnosis and troubleshooting of workstations and other IT equipment (in cases where the problem cannot be solved remotely), support of contractors.

• User support: consultation and assistance to store employees on work issues IT infrastructures.

• Documentation: maintenance of technical documentation and reports, accounting for reserve equipment of the region, timely informing about the need to replenish stocks.

• Working with scripts: using existing scripts to solve typical tasks, their refinement or creation new.
