Our ideal candidate has:

• Work experience from 3 years at similar position

• Experience in planning, deployment and maintenance of fault-tolerant solutions based on the VMware virtualization product stack (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN).

• Excellent knowledge of the principles of operation of transmission networks, data storage systems, server equipment. Knowledge of technologies and protocols of data storage systems (vSAN, iSCSI).

• Experience with Windows/Linux server OS. Practical experience of server administration

• Experience of working with Docker.

• Practical experience of providing load balancing (load balancing) and providing fault tolerance ( failover). Understanding of Disaster Recovery concepts.

• Experience with backup systems (VEEAM BACKUP & REPLICATION).

• Ability to analyze problem situations and take action to eliminate the causes of their occurrence, including disassembling and modifying scripts to automate tasks, analyze, find and fix faults.

• Understanding of virtual environment security methods, including rights management access and application policies security.

• Ability to develop work instructions, schemes, operational documentation for services and systems.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Ensuring smooth functioning of the virtual infrastructure (installation, configuration, updates and administration).

• Operation of transmission networks (vSAN, iSCSI), monitoring availability Elimination of incidents, accidents.

• Installation, configuration and administration of Veeam Backup & Replication solutions for creating and managing backup copies of virtual machines.

• < p>Monitoring, analysis and elimination of technical problems arising in the virtualization environment.

• Maintenance of documentation (writing and maintaining up-to-date state).

• Consultations on the capabilities and limitations of virtualization environments.

• Formation of typical solutions for non-standard requests.

• Participation in joint infrastructure projects. Participation in the planning and implementation of promising projects for the deployment of new IT systems and products and the expansion of their functionality.
