System Administrator in IT SmartFlex

We are currently looking for System Administrator with an understanding of the operation of application servers.

The main tasks of this position:

• Deploy/Undeploy java applications on the application server;
• Changes in the configuration of the application server;
• Updating the application server (version update, license update);
• Linux OS updates, Linux OS configuration changes;
• Linux user account management;
• Creating/updating bash scripts to automate OS and application server administration tasks ;
• Monitoring the operation of the application server and the OS (load of processors, RAM, network, disks);
• Resolving emerging problems in the operation of the OS, web/application server.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

• Experience of working in companies with developed infrastructure from 3 years;
< li>Good knowledge and experience in the administration of the Linux family OS (knowledge of Red Hat will be an advantage);
• Knowledge of network protocols and technologies (understanding of TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, SSH, firewall);
• Experience in the operation and configuration of web servers (knowledge of Apache will be an advantage);
• Experience in the operation and configuration of application servers (knowledge of application server Resin Pro will be an advantage);
• >Understanding JVM operation and configuration;
• Experience in creating and implementing bash scripts;
• Basic knowledge of virtualization technology (knowledge of VMware ESXi will be an advantage).
