Strong Middle/Senior Business Analyst (Design of Data Processing System) in PrivatBank

Purpose of the position: we are looking for an experienced and proactive business analyst to be a key link between business strategy and our technical team. Your role is to deeply understand business needs and translate them into clear, structured requirements for the development team, as well as follow-up and manage the project throughout the SDLC.

About the team: The Design of Data Processing System team of PrivatBank is the newest team that is a foundation for the development of interfaces, for solving business problems of any complexity. We use modern technologies to work on projects, we work on projects in the fields of finance, bank budgeting, risk management, branch network management, client base, etc.

Main duties:

• Collection, analysis and validation of requirements from business stakeholders to transform them into technical documentation
• Decomposition of complex business problems (for example, preparation of interfaces for work with the financial part, dashboards for monitoring indicators on the activities of departments or products, separate web applications for the administration of bank processes) into technical tasks for back end developers and front end parts
• Analysis of data sources in databases, assessment of their quality, completeness and availability for API construction and interaction with the interface part
• Formalization of requirements for web applications, including the specifics of unstructured data (images, video, text)
• Designing the logic of the interface part and its integration with other bank systems via API (REST)
• Creating and maintaining project documentation in Confluence:
  • Technical Specifications (SRS)
  • Acceptance Criteria in Jira
  • Data Dictionary
  • Process Diagrams (UML) and Data Flows (DFD)
• For Senior roles: participation in designing solution architecture, mentoring less experienced analysts and proactively identifying opportunities to optimize existing business processescesses

Basic requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a business/systems analyst in IT
• Sure knowledge of UI/UX and work interface part
• Practical experience in preparing mockups and prototyping
• Experience in planning project stages (preparation of road map, Gantt and Ishikawa charts)
• Practical experience in designing and describing API (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Experience in collecting and formalizing requirements for complex systems
• Experience with Atlassian tools: Jira for task management and Confluence for documentation
• Ability to work in an Agile environment (experience with Scrum/Kanban)
• Systematic and critical thinking, ability to see the "big picture"
• Developed communication skills for effective interaction with technical and business teams
• Independence, responsibility and ability to make decisions in the area of competence
• High level of attention to details
• Ability to work in a team

Will be an advantage:

• Experience as a business/systems analyst in projects related to finance, analytics, customer base
• Experience in banking or fintech (understanding credit processes, risk management, fraud detection, customer service)
• SQL proficiency and experience with relational (PostgreSQL) databases
• Basic knowledge of Java (Angular libraries) for development opportunities
