Strong Middle QA (Manual and Automation) (Remote) in IT Craft

IT Craft is inviting a Strong Middle Automation QA with a focus on automation to join the team. We are working on a large multi-platform project aimed at automating work with papers and documentation for municipalities and citizens. We offer a great opportunity to build automation processes and frameworks from scratch.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure scalability, reliability and capability support using the appropriate platform;
• Execution of automated test cases, analysis of results and provision of detailed reports on test results, identification of defects and areas for improvement;
• Performance of system/integration testing and analysis of results ;
• Development and implementation of a comprehensive testing strategy for new functionality and releases, with an emphasis on functional and non-functional requirements;
• Collaboration with developers and product teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous and timely test execution;
• Identifying, documenting and tracking defects;
• Collaborating with product managers, developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, develop test plans and quality assurance throughout the development cycle;
• Performing other duties related to automation, QA and testing.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial experience in manual and automated testing;
• Good understanding of QA methodology: test plans, test cycles and software releases;
• Deep understanding of the principles of web applications and browsers;
• Practical experience in the development of automated frameworks using the Selenium or Playwright platform;
• Practical experience in the development of automated tests at different levels (system, integration etc.);
• Strong theoretical knowledge of framework architecture basics;
• SQL knowledge;
• C# or Java knowledge;
• Basic knowledge of CI tools /CD such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions;
• The level of written and spoken English is at least Upper-Intermediate.

It will be a plus:

• Experience in evaluating and prioritizing testing tasks;
• Experience with XRay/TestRail or similar tools;
• Practical experience building architecture from scratch.< /li>

• Practical experience in designing automation framework using Selenium or Playwright platform;
• Practical experience in implementing automated tests on different application layers (System, Integration, etc.);
• Strong theoretical knowledge of the basis of framework architecture;
• Knowledge of SQL;
• Knowledge of C# or Java; Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions At least Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English.

Will be a plus:

• Experience in estimating and prioritizing testing tasks;
