Strong Junior/Middle Full-Stack JavaScript Developer (Angular/React + Node. js) in ITeam

ITEAM is a Ukrainian IT company that works with international clients from Australia, the USA, and Europe. We specialize in frontend and full-stack development and implementation of AI solutions into real products, not "AI for the tick".

We are looking for a Junior / Middle Full-Stack JavaScript Developer who is interested in growing, understanding the product, influencing decisions and gradually immersing himself in modern AI technologies - with the support of a team, not in a "figure it out yourself" mode.

About the role and tasks

In this role you will:

• work on live production projects for international clients;

• develop frontend on React and backend on Node.js (Express / Nest.js);

• participate in code reviews and technical discussions;

• gradually join AI features (OpenAI / LLM API, embeddings, vector search) — with explanations and mentoring;

• interact with the team and clients in English (without strict enterprise formalism).

What is important to us

We are not looking for the "perfect CV". It is important to us that you:

• work confidently with React (components, hooks, routing);

• have practical experience with Node.js / Express or Nest.js;

• understand JavaScript / TypeScript / HTML / CSS;

• used Git (branches, pull requests, code review);

• could communicate in English at B1+ level.

Would be a plus, but not necessary:

• basic experience with OpenAI API / LLM API, embeddings, vector search;

• familiarity with ElasticSearch.

If you don't have much experience with AI or ElasticSearch, that's ok. The main thing for us is willingness to learn and get involved, not "ticks" on the list of technologies.

Work format

• Office in Kyiv, near the city of Darnytsia (there is a generator, shelter, stable internet);

• Remote is not considered, a hybrid is possible after adaptation;

• Full working day: 10:00-19:00.
