About Role (Business Creation Unit)
Our client is a group of companies that is actively developing and creating an autonomous division — Department of New Business Development of businesses, which will function as a Business Creation Unit. We are looking for a leader with an entrepreneurial mindset to lead this direction.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of investment projects: from finding an idea or object for acquisition (M&A) to bringing the business to a stable operational level.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategy and Investments
Development of investment strategy and formation, as well as investment portfolio management.
Making key decisions regarding the initiation, financing, scaling or closing of projects (Go/No-Go).
Management of Due Diligence processes and financial modeling for business evaluation and investment solutions.
2. Launch and Operational Management (Hands-on)
Managing the full cycle of launching new businesses "from scratch" and M&A projects.
Performing the role of CEO/Operational Director at the stage of incubation and stabilization of new business.
Creation and implementation of internal business processes, reporting and control systems for new assets.
3. Team Formation and Partnership
Formation of the structure and team of the Department (hiring analysts, PMs, experts).
Search and conclusion of strategic agreements and partnerships.
Presentation of projects to the owner and coordination with other departments of the management company.
Requirements for Candidate
Experience: 5+ years in management positions in the fields of venture investments, corporate development, M&A or in fast-growing start-ups.
Practical experience: Proven experience implementing investment projects and launching start-ups (businesses "from zero").
Analytics: Deep knowledge of investment analytics, financial modeling and business valuation.
Style: Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset, strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Education and Language: Higher education (finance/management). English proficiency Upper-Intermediate.
