What You’ll Do:

• Code and debug all assigned features.
• Work closely with your team and engineering leadership to ensure the highest standards of design, implementation, performance, and security are met.
• Analyze application problem areas and propose solutions.
• Plan and execute unit and functional tests as required to ensure changes meet requirements.
• Learn and utilize new technologies, concepts, and procedures as appropriate to project requirements.

What Success Looks Like…

In 3 months…

• Build new features and enhance existing ones based on the needs of our customers.
• Become familiar with the details of our business domain, development process, and existing code.
• Build healthcare industry knowledge.
• Participate in code reviews

In 6 months…

• Learn technologies used on the development team
• Participate in architectural design or technical discussions
• Be a strong partner to the product team

In 12 months…

• Consistently deliver on all feature development expectations
• Suggest ideas for technical enhancements
• Be an expert in all technologies in use by the development team
• Work with internal and external stakeholders on the delivery of features

What You Need:

• Desire to work as a developer, on customer facing software and web services.
  
• 4+ years of experience designing, coding, and testing of web applications.
• Proficiency with HTML/CSS with the ability to build web pages that match a given design.
• Demonstrated Proficiency with one of the following: Java (with Spring/Springboot), Ruby on Rails, AWS lambda, VueJS – AND the ability to learn all these technologies as needed.
• Knowledge of SQL and fundamentals of relational database design.
• The ability to be self-disciplined, figure out things largely on your own and complete assigned work without hand holding.
