The specialist is assigned a range of issues for which he carries out investigative work based on the appeals of citizens of Ukraine and conducts relevant search activities on the territory of Ukraine for requests from abroad (in partnership with the Search Services of the National Societies of the Red Cross or Red Crescent, International Committee of the Red Cross). 

-   Carrying out measures to trace, restore family ties and find out the fate of persons (regardless of national origin and state affiliation) who suffered as a result of wars, armed conflicts, emergency situations and migration processes in the world. 

with the aim of promptly responding to their needs in the search for and restoration of family ties lost as a result of the international armed conflict in Ukraine.

-     Carrying out business correspondence and telephone conversations with partners, including

foreigners.

-     Documentation maintenance.  Systematization of data regarding the execution of program tasks, including statistical accounting, formation of reporting documents on the work performed.

Additional duties:

-      Performs administrative tasks related to the organization of regional sessions/events for the families of missing persons/prisoners as a result of international armed conflict and the provision of services to the IRS.

-     Works with information resources in order to implement the most effective search activities:

  • performs a targeted comprehensive examination of the information necessary for the search;
  • uses available published information and electronic sources and resources;
  • screens the request information and other sources to determine the plan search activities.

Requirements:

  • Higher education,
  • Work experience is optional,
  • Willingness to deal with routine work and the ability to determine priorities, attention to detail.
  • A confident PC user (Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook, PPT ), skills of using Internet resources.
  • Ability to process large amounts of information and competent management of current documentation/document flow.
  • Skills of information systematization, activity planning.
  • Ability work in a team.
  • Experience in communication with different categories of beneficiaries will be an advantage,
  • interviewing skills (according to the principles: listen and hear, look and see, understand and feel), < /li>
  • the ability to conduct a dialogue and a structured conversation (identifying the problems and needs of families affected by the armed conflict),
  • ethics of behavior, tact and diplomacy.
  • Mobility and readiness work outside the office (meetings/contacts with volunteers, visits to beneficiaries of the Tracing Service).
  • Stress resistance and motivation to work in the humanitarian field, willingness to work in accordance with the basic principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
  • Fluent command of the Ukrainian language, knowledge of the English language at the B1 (Intermediate) level.
  • Observance of the principle of information confidentiality.
