The Right to Protection, CF
BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of military operations, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The BF "Right to Defense" is a partner of the Response Consortium within the framework of the implementation of the project "Providing multi-sectoral humanitarian aid to the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine (2023-2026)" with the financial support of the US Government. The Response Consortium is implementing a multi-sectoral humanitarian aid program for the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The Goal is to strengthen people's resilience and ability to overcome the consequences of war through timely access to multisectoral support and quality information management. The target groups are internally displaced persons, people affected by the war, returnees after the reduction of the intensity of hostilities, with the priority of supporting the elderly and persons with disabilities.
The geography of implementation is urban and remote rural communities of the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions. The economic capacity building component is implemented in Poltava, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
The project is looking forSpecialist (position) in monitoring the situation of IDPs inm. Odessa region font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Under the direct supervision of the regional protection coordinator and the regional team leader, the employee must:
visit state bodies that provide IDP services, places of compact settlement IDPs, activities aimed at IDPs, etc.;
to communicate with IDPs, persons affected by hostilities, representatives of government institutions and non-governmental organizations, in order gathering information about the humanitarian situation as a whole;
provide reports in a timely manner on a daily basis based on the results of monitoring visits;
prepare reports on a specific incident and/or humanitarian situation in general;
perform a comprehensive analysis of the collected information, describe existing risks in the field of protection, possible means of response and strategy exit;
based on the analysis, create beneficiary questionnaires for financial assistance and submit them to the regional coordinator for consideration;
clarify the rules for IDPslost as a result of hostilities, counseling on other issues;
provide other individual assistance to IDPs;
preference is given to candidates who have their own car;
preferred knowledge of human rights;
readiness for "out of office" work;
the ability to collect information in accordance with the goals and objectives of the project;
skills to prepare reports (analytical, on a separate incident);
understanding humanitarian principles;
excellent communication skills, readiness for daily communication with people (IDPs, representatives of government institutions);
preference is given to IDPs who lost their jobs due to displacement;
self-motivation;
flexibility.
Residence in the specified location and awareness of the local situation will be significant advantages.
