INTRODUCTION

BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Fund) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance internally displaced persons (IDPs), persons who victims of war, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, high-risk stateless persons and undocumented persons. Since the beginning of the military invasion in Eastern Ukraine, the Foundation has been monitoring the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Today, the Fund works in almost all regional centers and communities within the respective regions.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Position will be active< /strong> within the project "Support of resettlement from accessible front-line settlements to places of temporary residence and social institutions in host communities".

Goal of the project- supporting the evacuation of the population from high-risk locations of the most vulnerable population groups, in particular persons with disabilities, the elderly through the provision of "home care" and other social services.

The project is being implemented in close cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy and the Protection Cluster, as well as the communities of Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions, and is coordinated with the current initiatives of the BF "Right to Protection" funded by the OCHA donor (UHF).

Specialist in social issues working with vulnerable categories of the population will work according to the methodology of the BF "Right to Defense" face-to-face in the city of Lozov (Kharkiv region).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identification of persons with disabilities and/or elderly persons in need of social support;

  • Assessing the needs of beneficiaries in social services and social assistance;

  • Provision of social services in accordance with needs, as well as home care services (assistance in self-care, movement in household conditions, managing the household, in the organization of interaction with other specialists and services; assistance in providing technical means of rehabilitation, training in their use; informing and representing interests);

  • Assistance identified in affected persons / beneficiaries in obtaining additional services (medical, social, psychological, legal, provision temporary shelter, etc.), in particular through referral, if necessary, to relevant general or specialized support services for affected persons and/or other entities;

  • Maintaining contact with local authorities and their institutions, as well as other humanitarian organizations;

  • Participation in writing analytical reports, entering data on the provided services of the internal data accounting program and performing other current tasks within the framework of project implementation;

  • Understanding and following the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher education preferably in the field of social, legal, psychological or humanitarian sciences;

  • Understanding the current legislation, types and basic measures for the provision of social services will be an advantage;

  • Work experience or cooperation with the following state institutions and institutions: centers for the provision of social services, centers for the provision of administrative services, services for children, territorial centers of social services, management of the pension fund of Ukraine, departments of social protection of the population;

  • From 2 years of work experience in humanitarian organizations, with a littleabundant people (elderly persons, persons with disabilities) and other vulnerable categories of the population - will be an advantage;

  • Experience working with internally displaced persons will be an advantage;

  • Skills speak the client's language and prepare educational materials;

  • Ability to establish contact with other colleagues and coordinate joint tasks;

  • Having your own car will be an advantage;

  • < li style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">

    Understanding humanitarian principles.
