BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of military operations, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Project "Rent housing for IDPs and war-affected population" aimed at encouraging IDPs and the war-affected population to move from dangerous areas and places of compact residence (hereafter ICP) as a short-term solution and to rent housing, and to reduce pressure between local residents and IDPs who evacuated after February 24, 2022, creating conditions for easier integration of beneficiaries into local communities. To implement the program we are looking for a specialist (rank) in monitoring the direction of housing rent in the city of Kyiv (Kyiv region).

TASKS AND DUTIES

Under the direct supervision of the regional team leader, the employee must:

  • provide consultations by phone and directly at the location of the compact settlement (MCP) regarding the conditions of the program; 400">identify potential beneficiaries in the program;

  • > none">to display information in the system in a timely manner;

  • to carry out regular monitoring of conditions aboutgrams per household;

  • provide monitoring reports;

  • perform other duties related to the implementation of the program.

REQUIREMENTS

  • preferred higher education;

  • knowledge of the Ukrainian language; normal; text-decoration: none">ability to work in the "fields" and within the area;

  • ability to collect information of the project;

  • analytical skills for preparing reports;

  • understanding of humanitarian principles;

  • excellent communication skills skills, readiness for daily communication with people;

  • ability to work closely with team members;

  • self-motivation; none">flexibility;

  • obey the Code of Conduct and the Fund's Policies.

Preference is given to IDPs who lost their jobs due to displacement.

The Foundation offers the successful candidate:

  • Contract until December 30, 2026 with the possibility of extension, according to personal results and project financing;

  • Opportunity to work with one of the strongest Ukrainian human rights and humanitarian non-profit organizations.
