Responsibilities:
Provide support services for cases of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) according to the principles of professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with the minimum standards for providing services for conducting such cases of the UNHCR;
Conduct a needs assessment and develop an action plan for response, ensuring security, recovery, referral to relevant services, conducting further monitoring and evaluating the results of actions; for protection determined in cooperation with the victims, including medical facilities, social services, shelters, etc.;
Keep documentedfiles and ensure their storage in accordance with the developed procedures and rules of the UNHCR and DC;
Collect and update the contacts of institutions and organizations that provide services in the field of HSR for effective referral;
Under the direction of the coordinator and together with the prevention officer for cases of GHG: Organize and carry out measures for the prevention and prevention of GHG; organize and carry out support activities for women and girls at risk or victims of violence; to be involved in the development of informational materials on the prevention and response to GHG;
Make referrals to other sectoral specialists of the organization and/or other relevant actors;
Necessary experience and competences:
Education in the field of social, medical and social work, social and psychological rehabilitation, sociology, jurisprudence, other related humanities.
Skills in providing primary psychosocial assistance;
Knowledge of the principles of case management;
Experience in the field of accompanying or providing individual support;
Skills in organizing and conducting group events;
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Time management skills to analyze workload, allocate priorities
