Proliska NGO announces a tender for concluding an agreement with a provider of social services at the community level in Kharkiv.

Proliska Public Organization is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization, which since 2014 has been providing comprehensive assistance and protection to the population affected by military operations in Ukraine.

Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and provides: social support for the most vulnerable persons affected by military operations; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; providing assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the combat zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the combat line and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not operate.

I. Requirements for the contestant:

  • Higher education in the field of social work, social sciences, psychology, pedagogy, law or related fields.
  • Skills and experience in public speaking (experience in conducting trainings and having a valid trainer's certificate will be advantage).
  • Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for preparing reports, maintaining databases, working with tables, analyzing information and preparing presentations.
  • Skills in facilitating group events, meetings with the community, focus group discussions.
  • Readiness for regular trips within the region.
  • Good communication skills skills.
  • Fluency in the Ukrainian language.
  • Basic English proficiency will be an advantage.
  • Experience working in non-profit and/or humanitarian organizations with IDPs or victims of the war in Ukraine will be an advantage
  • Experience working with internally displaced persons, victims of conflict, children, people with disabilities, elderly people or other vulnerable groups will be an advantage.

II. Description of services to be provided:

  • Organization and implementation of activities to raise awareness and involve communities in accordance with the principles of community-based protection, in particular:
  • conduct preventive and community-oriented information sessions for children, parents/guardians and community members aimed at increasing awareness of children's rights, safe behavior and available public and humanitarian services, including access to education, basic medical care, psychosocial and legal support;
  • conducting online and offline trainings on child rights issues and various programs in the field of child protection, in particular on issues of risk identification, referral mechanisms (referral mechanisms), ethical standards and mandatory reporting obligations for staff and institutions directly or indirectly involved in child protection.
  • Supporting communities in identifying priority topics by conducting discussions, collecting feedback, micro-surveys, as well as meetings with parents and community representatives.
  • Facilitating risk dialogues in the field of child protection and supporting communities in the development of practical solutions.
  • Adaptation of key informational messages to local needs, cultural context and specific requests of different target groups.
  • Strengthening community cohesion through regular interaction with parents, representatives of local services, educational institutions and social support centers.
  • Providing advice and guidance on available public and humanitarian services, in particular in the areas of social, educational, medical and psychosocial support.
  • · Keeping documentation and preparing reports in accordance with established requirements, as well as collecting feedback for the purpose of improving program activities.
  • ІІІ. We offer the successful candidate:
  • Contract until December 31, 2026 with the possibility of extension, which depends on further funding and personal work results.
