The Right to Protection, CF
BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Fund) is a charitable organization that focuses on assisting internally displaced persons (IDPs), war victims, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, high-risk stateless persons and undocumented persons. Since the beginning of the military conflict in Eastern Ukraine, the Foundation has been monitoring the situation of IDP rights protection, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Today, the Fund works in almost all regional centers and communities within the respective regions.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The position will operate withinResponse Consortium: provision of multi-sectoral humanitarian aid to the conflict-affected population in Ukraine," font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none "> which is implemented under the coordination of the international humanitarian organization AKTED and with the financial support of the USAID Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA), and focuses its attention on mechanisms for the protection of the population affected by the conflict and IDPs in target regions.
The goal of the project - strengthening the resilience and resilience of conflict-affected persons in Ukraine through timely access to multi-sectoral humanitarian aid and management support information.
Specialist on social issues of the mobile group in the structure of this project receives tasks and works according to the methodology of BF "Right to Defense". According to the plan of this projectspecialist on social issues deploys face-to-face activities in the communities of Odesa region.
OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provision of social assistance to affected persons: social services from counseling, social support, representation of interests according to needs, case management, physical support;
Identification of individuals and families in need of social support;
< /li>Conduct assessment of beneficiaries' needs in social services and social assistance;
< span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none"> Assistance to identified affected persons/beneficiaries in obtaining additional services (medical, social, psychological, legal, provision of temporary shelter, etc.), in particular through referral, if necessary, to the relevant general or specialized support services for victims and/or other subjects;
Maintaining contact with local authorities and its institutions, as well as other humanitarian organizations; span>
Participation in conducting public educational events (group or individual) aimed at raising the level of public awareness regarding the maintenance of mental health and psycho-emotional state in emergency conditions;
li>Participation in writing analytical reports, entering data on the services provided and performing other current tasks within the framework of project implementation.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Higher education preferably in social, legal, psychological or humanitarian sciences;
Understanding current legislation, types and basic measures for the provision of social services will be an advantage;
Work experience or cooperation with the following state institutions and institutions: centers for the provision of social services, centers for the provision of administrative services, services for children, territorial centers of social services, management of the pension fund of Ukraine, departments of social protection of the population; span>
From 2 years of experience working in humanitarian organizations, with people with limited mobility (the elderly, people with disabilities) and other vulnerable categories of the population - will be an advantage;
Experience working with internally displaced persons will be an advantage;
Ability to speak the client's language and prepare educational materials;
Ability to establish contact with other colleagues and coordinate joint tasks;
Understanding and compliance with the Code of Conduct and other Foundation policies.
