Public organization "Proliska" is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization that has been providing comprehensive assistance and protection to the population since 2014. which suffered as a result of military actions in Ukraine.

Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and carries out: social support of the most vulnerable persons who suffered as a result of military actions; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; providing assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the combat zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the combat line and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not function.

I. Candidate requirements:

  • Higher education (required).
  • Higher education in the field of sociology, jurisprudence, related specialties will be an advantage.
  • Previous work experience in humanitarian or international organizations (will be an advantage).
  • Readiness for regular field trips within the region, including to sites of shelling, to study needs.
  • High communication skills, readiness for daily communication with the population affected by hostilities, IDPs, returnees and representatives of local authorities authorities.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office programs, Excel.
  • Experience in statistical data processing, writing (preparation) of reports and use of statistical reporting platforms, such as Kobo-forms (preferred).
  • Attention and literacy when filling out documents.
  • Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.
  • Execution of duties in a gender-sensitive and zero-tolerance manner for sexual harassment and other negative behavior.
  • Ability to self-organization and orientation to the interests of humanitarian aid recipients.
  • Observance of anonymity, confidentiality, tolerance in relation to humanitarian aid recipients.

II. Functional duties:

  • Provision of consultations on social issues.
  • Monitoring to identify the needs of the affected population.
  • Study of the basic needs of the population affected by hostilities, and needs of the most vulnerable categories of the population: IDPs, people with disabilities, the elderly, families with children, repatriates, etc.
  • Interaction with representatives of authorities of local authorities and further coordination, taking into account identified needs and with a goalsupporting citizens affected by hostilities.
  • Identifying and analyzing cases of rights violations, systemic problems faced by recipients of humanitarian aid, and providing proposals for the creation of an effective mechanism for eliminating human rights violations. Facilitating the realization of the rights of recipients of humanitarian aid.
  • Redirecting individual requests of help seekers to the case management department and/or psychological support department, with the aim of providing comprehensive assistance.
  • Redirecting individual requests of help seekers to authorized persons: international, humanitarian, public organizations, charitable foundations, volunteer groups, state employment center, etc., with the aim of providing comprehensive assistance.
  • Entering information and data into electronic databases and tables, including with the help of the KoVo form.
  • Constant communication and reporting to the management of the organization.
  • III. What we offer:
