BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) is a recognized leader of the human rights movement in Ukraine. The Fund has a powerful position in the field of protection of the rights of internally distorted persons (IDPs), refugees and stateless persons. From the beginning of the military invasion in eastern Ukraine, the Fund monitors the situation of protection of IDP rights, providing legal and psychosocial assistance and intensifying the humanitarian response in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya regions. Today, the Fund operates in almost all regional centers and communities within the respective regions. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNCCC and provides programs for providing direct legal aid throughout Ukraine, facilitates changes in the national legal framework, bringing it into compliance with international human rights standards. 

Description of the project

will act as part of the project "Inclusive protection networks in Ukraine", which is to create an inclusive system, and reintegration through the development of mobile services, enhancing the capabilities of public organizations and promoting social cohesion at community levels. regions or regions with insufficient level of service. A separate emphasis is aimed at promoting social cohesion through integration measures, building confidence and involving communities in veterans reintegration processes. with selected target communities, community leaders, public organizations in the relevant location, facilitation of working groups, conducting trainings and integration measures aimed at social inclusion and involvement of veterans and their families.  

a position provides frequent business trips for direct communication with representatives of target communities of the above areas. Coordinator of the social cohesion and understanding program, as well as, in cooperation with the regional senior monitor and community specialist, specialist will perform the following responsibilities:

  • participation in the diagnosis Fund monitoring);
  • formation of working groups, determining the subject of their work and graphics, holding facilitation meetings of such groups in two communities defined by the project; 
  • Development and preparation of documents, reports, etc. on the results of working groups, as well as their presentationthis;
  • participation in the preparation of substantive filling of integration measures in accordance with the topic determined by the coordinator with social proceedings and a representative of the program; 
  • Conducting integration measures, trainings, ensuring their moderation and facilitation;
  • Development of methodological materials, workbooks, recommendations and other software documents that accompany appropriate activities; Fund;
  • Organizational support for training, working groups, integration activities in communities in conjunction with an event manager, a staffing team of monitoring and program representatives; goals;
  • readiness for frequent business trips for monitoring and supporting the implementation of the project in the regions;
  • Preparation of projects of analytical and monitoring reports in the direction determined by the coordinator on social cohesion and understanding of the publicity; coordination of results with a team of social cohesion and understanding to ensure the implementation of a strategy of direction and/or changes it, if necessary; Code of Conduct;
  • Preference is given to candidates who have their own car. communities;
  • experience with veterans and their families will be an advantage;
  • Understanding the humanitarian principles of work;
  • fluent in Ukrainian;
  • readiness for business trips within Ukraine; Individually;

  • High level of self -motivation to achieve results;
