Specialist analyst in PR-Prime Company

Position title: Analyst

Place of work: city of Kyiv, office on Pechersk (mixed work format)

Duration: 12 months

1. Background and context

The international non-governmental organization "Social Initiatives for Labor and Health" (LHSI) was founded in August 2002. The organization implements technical assistance projects in all regions of Ukraine and cooperates with partners abroad in four main areas:

· social policy

· health and well-being

· protection of civil rights, including the right to decent work

· development of children and youth

Vision: improvement of the situation of the most vulnerable segments of the population and children in Ukraine, based on their needs and life situation.

Mission: improvement of partnership, support and implementation of social projects in the field of social protection, health care and protection of the rights of the most vulnerable segments of the population, including children in Ukraine.

For implementation and coordination of program components of the project, monitoring and analysis of data, support of specialists on the ground, the organization of the NGO "Social initiatives for labor protection and health" hires specialists-analysts of the project.

2. Objectives of the position

• Coordinate the work of teams of social and medical service providers in the regions, ensuring compliance with the strategic goals of the organization.
• Ensure effective monitoring and reporting on the results of project implementation and programs, grants aimed at improving access to medical services for project clients.
• Support and develop the organization's efforts to attract funding for projects and programs.

3. Main duties

Coordination and representation:

· Coordination of program work in 3 regions of project implementation.

· Cooperation with local coordinators and groups implementation of the project on the ground (by teams of social and medical workers); providing technical assistance to teams on the ground.

· Internal monitoring and evaluation, including field monitoring visits, meetings, supervision, communication with teams and collection of project information. Technical assistance:

· Provide expert support to TB detection specialists in the field.

· Develop and conduct presentations, trainings and professional development seminars for project implementation teams.

· Development and implementation of local algorithms of interaction for the purpose of detecting tuberculosis. Monitoring and reporting:

· Monitoring of document flow with project executors, including control of receipt of a complete package of primary documents (act of completed works and program report for each reporting period). Formation of relevant folders with primary documents in the latest edition (taking into account the latest changes) according to fixed sites.

· Preparation of current and quarterly analytical reports on the progress of project implementation, including h using data in the Syrex program.

· Preparation of materials, descriptive half-yearly reports, information.

· Providing proposalsii to technical tasks for social workers.

· Providing proposals and gathering information for the preparation of project applications related to the project's activities in the region.

· Checking reports and validating completed project indicators; monitoring the reliability of information provided in reports with data displayed in the Syrex system and primary documentation.

· Submission of verified tables of actually performed indicators to the financial department for payment for each reporting period under signature. Bearing full responsibility for the authenticity of the information provided.

· Verification of issued motivational certificates to project clients with the project's program staff in accordance with the project's requirements. Partnership and funding attraction:

· Presentations and presentation of the project to local stakeholders, promotion of project results, improvement of cooperation on the ground.

· Fruitful cooperation with other project specialists (communication specialist) and operations department project, including analysis and presentation of the needs of local partners in technical assistance to the project, additional training, etc. to the attention of project experts.

· Analyze performance results and provide recommendations for improving program implementation.

· Implement mechanisms for assessing the effectiveness of projects and ensure their compliance with the strategic goals of the organization.

4. Necessary competencies

Education:

· Higher education in areas related to the work of the project (social, medical).

Knowledge of the legal framework and international recommendations on tuberculosis and social work, excellent analytical and communication skills. an advantage.

Experience:

· At least 3 years of relevant experience in social work and/or project management. · Experience in the development and implementation of various types of programs aimed at social services.

· Experience of 1 year of work with the projects of the Global Fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria can be an additional advantage.

Skills and knowledge:

· High level of analytical, organizational and problem-oriented skills.

· Working skills in crisis situations and a difficult environment, including with online resources.

· Awareness of tuberculosis, including algorithms for detecting tuberculosis among vulnerable population groups.

Other requirements:

· Fluency in the Ukrainian language. English at a working level (preferred).

· Willingness to travel around the country and abroad.

· Devotion to the organization's mission and values.

5. Expected results

· Regular reports on project progress and results.

· Documentation of partnership initiatives and fundraising activities.

· Training materials and workshops.

· Policy recommendations and technical support for stakeholders.
