We need someone who is proactive and leads meeting in the area under their responsibility with customer/Developer.Required skills:2-3 years of experience in Software TestingBasic understanding of the SDLC and development methodologiesBasic understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and processesExperience in writing clear, concise test scenariosBasic understanding of API testingExperience with Test management tools (JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, Zephyr)Experience with SQL databases on the basic level (SELECTs and conditions)Critical thinking and problem-solving skillsTeam playerWill be a plus:Telecommunication experience/knowledgeAmdocs/Beeline business and Cross Portfolio knowledgeExperience with Migration testingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsWillingness to work in an Agile environment with a collaborative teamResponsibilities:Oversees and performs test execution activities, including implementation of test automation procedures and scripts. Determines the proper prioritization of the testing activities and ensures integrative work and full coverage of test scenarios based on the test plan and observations from concurrent testing activities.Collects and analyzes system behavioral results to provide recommendations for issue resolution as well as for system optimization.Defines the execution test plan, scope, and resources required to meet the objectives of the test activities in his/her area of ownership (segments of the project/engagement).Design test solutions to be implemented and executed in alignment with the planned scope and design coverage and customer needs/use, leveraging knowledge and a broad understanding of E2E business processes and requirements. Responsibilities includeMaintains and enhances the professional and business relationship with the customer and internal stakeholders (e.g., Product Manager, Architect, Designer).Calls attention to and focus on incident assessments. Works closely with test lead/ manager to resolve technical queries/ sticky points and ensures RCA for all problems in his area of ownership. Acts as technical interface with other teams to resolve issues and communicate conclusions and recommendations.Identifies and analyzes risks and their potential business impact to determine the proper prioritization of the testing activities based on the risk assessment (e.g., which have been mitigated, which are considered to be unmitigated).Ensures that product documentation, test ware and work products used in the testing activities are of the highest quality to ensure traceability, correctness, and compliance to both internal standards and client needs.Effectively participates in and/or leads formal and informal reviews with stakeholders, applying knowledge and experience and providing a technical perspective to these reviews.Provides professional and technical support for team members and keeps them informed of assignment/ project status. Mentors new team members.Supports and promotes test efficiency and optimization initiatives.
