Software Engineer with Phd degree in Unicsoft

Currently we are looking for a Software Engineer with Phd degree.

Duration: long term

Workload: full time, 40 hours/week

We pay by hourly rate.

One of our client, Zurich Research University is looking for mature Software Engineer to work on research data management software projects. The main activity will be interoperability and integration between openBIS, flagship re-search data management platform, and other systems such as ELNs and data repositories. This may involve defining and implementing common data formats, developing APIs and tools for upoad and data transformation. 

OpenBIS is written in Java and Javascript, with extensions being coded in Python. 

They also would like to meet with future employees in person each quarter in Zurich for team-building and offline sessions.

Key requirements:

- 2 years of experience in Java is required 

- Good working knowledge in Python is very desirable,

- Knowledge of and experience in Javascript is an advantage

- Some experience working in academic software projects is beneficial

- Upper-Intermediate level of English
