SOC analyst (trainee) in Metinvest Digital

We are currently looking for a TRAINEE for the position of SOC analyst.We consider candidates without work experience, but with specialized education and active interest in this field. Courses and/or certifications in this field will be an advantage.

| KEY TASKS:

• Identification of information security (IS) incidents through monitoring, express analysis of IS events, their closure or escalation for further processing.
• Current control over the state of information security of the METINVEST Group of companies, by analyzing messages from the Group's cyber security systems, IT personnel, users.
• Implementation of classification and categorization of information security events and incidents.
• Interviewing employees in order to establish the circumstances of an information security event or incident.
• Participation in Center projects aimed at reducing the Group's financial and reputational losses, protecting its business reputation, increasing manageability and stability of information systems.

| YOU ARE OUR CANDIDATE IF YOU HAVE:

• A general understanding of the purpose, application scope, typical usage scenarios and limitations of the following systems:
     - Security Event Management (SIEM) systems;
     - intrusion detection and countermeasures systems (IDS\IPS); network screens (Firewall);
     - security gateways (WEB Gateway, Email Gateway).
• General understanding of the main types of cyber attacks, means of their implementation, methods and means of detection, localization and countermeasures.
• General understanding of the principles of operation of the main Active Directory technologies and services, group policy management tools.
• General understanding of the principles of operation of IS protocols and technologies:
    - IPSec, VPN;
    - TLS, SSL, HTTPS;
  
     - Defence-in-Depth.
     - Network-as-a-Sensor.
     - network segmentation, DMZ.
• Liability. Focus on results.
• Ability to prioritize work tasks.
• Ability to self-study.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Pre intermediate (A2 ).
