SOC Analyst (Tier 2) /Incident Response Specialist in PrivatBank

We are looking for style="font-weight: 700">SOC Analyst and result.

Main Responsibilities:

• Incident investigation: conducting a full cycle analysis of information security incidents (Tier 2 level) escalated from the first line monitoring
• Response to threats: localization of threats, taking measures to contain attacks and interaction with system administrators to block malicious activity
• Work with SIEM: development and implementation of new correlation rules (use cases), optimization of existing algorithms to reduce the number of false positives (False Positives)
• Methodological work: development, updating of playbooks (IR Playbooks) and filling the internal knowledge base
• Threat Hunting: active search for hidden threats and anomalies in the company infrastructure

Requirements for candidates:

• Higher or unfinished higher education (final year student) in the field
• Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript programming languages (for automation), knowledge of the SQL query language
• Confident console skills, experience in system log analysis (syslog, auditd, /var/log), understanding of OS processes and access rights
• Deep understanding of Windows and Linux architecture
• Good knowledge of network protocols and network principles
