Hello! My name is Roma, I am the co-founder of UM | Shopify Marketing Agency. We help e-commerce brands scale through performance and retention marketing.

We are often approached by businesses with a real product and demand, but the site does not allow us to realize this potential. At the unit-economy level, it is clear that the project can grow, but without finalizing the site, advertising simply does not add up in numbers. This is where we need reinforcement now.

This is why we are building in-house expertise in Shopify development and are looking for a person to close this direction with us.

About the role and tasks

This is a full-time position in the team, where you work with e-commerce projects as part of a full-fledged growth system.

In this role, you will work with the following tasks:

• collection of landing pages for paid traffic
• optimization of product pages
• advertorial creation of pages
• work with integration of apps and third-party solutions
• improvement of speed and technical condition of sites
• technical preparation of sites for work with email marketing

What is technically important to us

We expect confident work with Shopify: themes, sections, blocks, customization of templates, understanding of platform logic. Comfortable working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript for responsive and mobile-first andinterfaces.

From the point of view of product thinking, it is important for us that you understand the basic principles of UX, mobile-first and do not break the logic of the user journey. We form CRO hypotheses and the direction of improvements, but we expect that the implementation will be neat and meaningful.

Who we are looking for

This role will suit you if:

• you have real experience with Shopify
• you are confident in implementing pages and edits without frameworks
• you are comfortable working with basic level design
• you understand that a site is part of a funnel and not just a set of pages

We are sure not on the way if:

• you are a pure coder without a sense of the interface
• or a designer who "codes a little"
• you are not interested in the business context and the client's result
