Server QA Engineer (iGaming)

Platipus is looking for a talented QA Engineer with experience in iGaming/Gambling.

Requirements:

• From 1 year of experience in the position QA Manual Engineer in the iGaming direction;
• Understanding the principles of client-server architecture;
• Knowledge of web protocols and ability to test web applications (HTML5);
• Skills in working with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger);
• Understanding of databases and the ability to work with SQL queries;
• Ability to analyze system logs and identify the causes of problems (Kibana);
• Experience testing Single Page Applications (React, Angular, Vue.js or others);
• Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (bug reports, checklists, test cases, etc.);
• Skills in working with bug tracking systems such as YouTrack, Jira and others.

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of programming languages;
• Experience with test automation tools.

Soft skills:

• Ability to work in a team and solve problems;
• Attention to details;
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• API testing of services and databases;
• Testing of microservices (server part);
• Analysis of system logs to find the causes of problems;
• Detection and reproduction of bugs;
• Writing test documentation and executing test scripts;
• Close collaboration with developers to improve product quality.
