| Role Summary
As the SEO & Outreach Specialist, you’ll own the end?to?end process of improving organic rankings and building high?quality backlinks. You’ll collaborate closely with content creators, PR team, designers, web developers, and social media managers, to develop and execute strategies that drive traffic, authority, and conversions.
| Primary Responsibilities
Technical SEO
Conduct site audits, identify crawl issues, optimize site architecture, implement schema markup, and work with developers to fix technical roadblocks.
On?Page Optimization
Perform keyword research, craft SEO?friendly meta tags, headings, and content briefs; ensure proper internal linking and content hierarchy.
Content Outreach
Research target publications, influencers, and niche blogs; pitch guest posts, link placements, and collaborative content opportunities.
Link Building
Design and execute white?hat backlink campaigns (guest posts, resource pages, broken?link reclamation, digital PR). Track acquisition metrics and maintain a clean backlink profile.
Performance Tracking
Set up and monitor dashboards in Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and other tools; report on rankings, traffic, and ROI to clients and internal stakeholders.
Strategy Development
Create quarterly SEO roadmaps aligned with company goals; stay ahead of algorithm updates and industry trends.
Collaboration
Work with copywriters, designers, and paid?media teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all assets.
| Skills
Experience: 2–4 years in SEO (agency or in?house) with a proven track record of improving rankings and acquiring quality backlinks.
Tools Proficiency: Hands?on experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and outreach platforms (BuzzStream, Pitchbox, etc.).
Technical Skills: Understanding of HTML, CSS basics, site speed optimization, and structured data implementation.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and adjust tactics accordingly.
Communication: Strong written outreach skills; comfortable crafting personalized pitches that get responses.
Project Management: Organized, able to juggle multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and keep stakeholders informed.
Language: Excellent English (additional languages a plus).
Nice?to?have: Experience with US SEO, familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms, and knowledge of content marketing or PR.
