We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in developing and customizing PHP & WordPress websites and a deep understanding of web development best practices. As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of WordPress sites and plugins, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and customization of WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
  Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality web solutions
• Architect and implement complex website functionalities, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites, themes, plugins, and hosting environments.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development, especially related to WordPress.
• Mentored and guided junior developers, providing code reviews and technical guidance.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and documentation efforts.
• Maintain code quality, security, and optimization across projects.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
• Extensive experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile optimization.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize WordPress performance issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role is a plus
• Proficiency in Linux server administration and command-line tools..
