GENERAL INFORMATION
BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Fund) is a recognized leader of the human rights movement in Ukraine. The Foundation has strong positions in the field of protection of the rights of internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees and stateless persons. Since the beginning of the military invasion in Eastern Ukraine, the Fund has been monitoring the situation of the protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal and psychosocial assistance and strengthening humanitarian response in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Today the Fund works in almost all regional centers and communities within the respective regions. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, promotes changes in the national legal framework, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION p>
The position will operate withinproject "Inclusive protection networks in Ukraine", which purpose is the creation of an inclusive system of support for veterans aimed at their social, psychological, legal and economic reintegration through the development of mobile services, strengthening the capacities of public organizations and promoting social cohesion at the community level
Project goal- to provide direct services to veterans and their families, as well as civilians affected by the effects of war, with special attention to those living in remote areas or areas with a separate emphasis of the project is aimed at promoting social cohesion through integration measures, building trust and involving communities in reintegration processes veterans.
GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION
Senior specialist in social cohesion and reintegration of veterans (hereinafter - Specialist) will be responsible for methodological support and development of standard procedureson the implementation of measures for social cohesion and reintegration of veterans. The specialist works under the supervision of the Coordinator for Social Cohesion and Understanding and will report to the Coordinator and the Project Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: span>
Under direct supervisionCoordinator of Social Cohesion and Understanding, in circle Development of standard operating procedures (SOP), implementation protocols aimed at social cohesion and reintegration of veterans, including integration activities, trainings, working groups; Training of social cohesion program specialists and understanding of methods and forms of work with social reintegration of veterans; Development and conducting trainings on the involvement (participation) of veterans and their family members in the decision-making process in the community, as well as trainings on practices and tools of memorialization; Coordination of meaningful content and implementation of integration activities in communities in accordance with the topic agreed with the Social Cohesion Coordinator; Setting up the process of forming working groups, determining the topics of their work and schedule, holding facilitation meetings of such groups in the communities defined by the project; Development and preparation of documents, reports, etc. based on the results of work groups, as well as their presentation; Supervision of the work of specialists in social cohesion and reintegration of veterans; Ensuring methodological support for the implementation of measures of the social cohesion program in work with veterans and their family members; Working tools diagnosis of the sphere of protection of veterans and their families in communities and analysis of diagnostic data collected with their help (in cooperation with the protection monitoring team of the Fund); Coordination and participation in the development of innovative approaches to social reintegration veterans and the relevant activities; Organization and holding of trainings, seminars and other educational events for specialists; Readiness for business trips to monitor and support the implementation of measures in the regions; Interaction with state and non-state institutions to ensure effective implementation of project goals; Development of methodological materials, recommendations and other program documents for work with social cohesion and reintegration of veterans; Preparation of projects of analytical and monitoring reports in the direction determined by the Coordinator for Social Cohesion and Understanding, as well as documents accompanying these activities; Regular coordination of activity results with the social cohesion and understanding team to ensure the implementation of the direction strategy and/or making changes to it, if necessary; Supporting the activities of the Foundation in any other necessary aspects and providing advice to the staff of the Foundation on any social cohesion issues as may be required. Observance of all relevant polethics and procedures of the Foundation, in particular regarding the code of conduct. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS Higher education in the field of social, psychological, humanities; Confirmed experience of working with communities or local government bodies; Skills for developing and implementing social cohesion work methods; Experience in coaching, mediation, facilitation;
Understanding humanitarian work principles,work experience in international donor projects related to humanitarian aid and charity will be an advantage; span>
Fluency in Ukrainian, English will be an advantage;
Readiness for business trips within Ukraine;
Strong communication and organizational skills;
Ability to work with a group and individually;
Ability to establish and maintain contacts;
High level of self-motivation to achieve results;
Cultural sensitivity and diplomacy;
Fair treatment of all people, lack of favoritism.
