As we expand our digital footprint, we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about using technology to make a positive impact in the food industry. This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while being part of a dynamic and supportive team.Role Overview:We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expert-level experience in Laravel, Vue.js, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development of new features, optimize existing systems, and play a crucial part in the architectural decisions of our platform. Your work will directly influence the user experience of our customers and the success of food producers across North America.Key Responsibilities:- Lead projects supporting the development and maintenance of our platform using Laravel and Vue.js, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.- Design and implement cloud-based solutions using GCP to enhance our platform's capabilities and ensure seamless deployment and operation.- Collaborate with the product team to understand user needs and translate them into robust technical solutions.- Optimize existing codebase for maximum speed and scalability while maintaining security and data protection standards.- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to our platform where beneficial.- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and work closely with the design team to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Upper-intermediate English level- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record in Laravel and Vue.js.- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with its suite of products including Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage.- Proficient in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with an understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms.- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, version control tools (Git), and developing RESTful APIs.- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in a remote environment.What We Offer:- 15 business days off annually + all Ukrainian holidays paid- A fully remote work environment with flexible working hours.- Direct contract with the USA entity and payments in USD to your private entrepreneur USD bank account in Ukraine or abroad- An opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-growing company and industry.- A supportive and dynamic team environment with a culture of continuous learning and growth.If you're passionate about using your skills to make a positive impact on the food industry and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment, we'd love to hear from you.
