Senior Salesforce Developer

DevCom is looking for a friendly, proactive, independent, and responsible Senior Salesforce Developer who can join our team, contribute to essential long-term projects with great social impact, and be part of a society that promotes STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math). Moreover, you have the possibility of leading a new direction both on the client side and in DevCom.

Office location: Lviv

Work mode: full-time employee. An opportunity to work in the Lviv office or remotely.

About the project:

Industry: not-for-profit worldwide membership organization, established in 1880, that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, career enrichment, and skills development across all engineering disciplines

Country: the USA

Team: on our side — 5 developers (supporting several projects, non-Salesforce, custom development), 9 QAs (entire system), and a team of 10-15 Salesforce developers on the client’s side. There is an experienced tech manager on the client’s side who can support with Salesforce challenges.

Technologies used in the projects: ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Angular, Coldfusion, Java, MS SQL Server, Salesforce

Current project status: live

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Analyze/audit existing infrastructure and make SF solutions based on business needs.
  • Work with stakeholders on analyzing requirements, their feasibility, and designing solutions.
  • Ability to conduct investigate and research tasks with precise attention to business needs, architecture, and tech specifics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications.
  • Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Implement and manage Salesforce core functionalities, billing, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), RightRev, NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack) and Sales packages.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems and APIs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years experience in software development.
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in Salesforce development.
  • Proficient in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Cloud core functionalities.
  • Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote).
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, customization, and configuration.
  • Understanding Azure DevOps CI/CD (environments, pipelines)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent experience in validating requirements. Sometimes, we need to develop a new engine:).
  • Proactive in asking questions and finding information.
  • “Helicopter view” approach, analyze and consider a wider picture of use cases.
  • English B2 or higher (regular calls/meetings).
  • Experience or desire to lead a team/direction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java or similar languages (.Net, JS, Python, etc).
  • Experience with microservice architecture and API Development.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD (environments, pipelines).
  • Experience with identity/billing/RightRev/NPSP/ and Sales packages.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Gearset, Workato, or similar.
  • Experience with data migration, integration, and deployment processes.

The next steps are:

  1. Short HR interview — 15-20 minutes.
