Our client uses advanced optimization algorithms and machine learning to help the world’s leading transit providers better run mass-transportation. Their disruptive technology is used in over 300 cities and drives some of the most complex and large-scale transit operations worldwide, helping improve quality of service and efficiency, reduce costs and streamline operations. Product of our client is an end-to-end, cross-functional software platform for transportation planning, scheduling, rostering, and operations.
They have been recognized as a technology pioneer for its role in transforming the transportation industry, promoting equity, sustainability, and smart cities.

Current team — TL, PM, 1 Senior, 1 Middle and 1 Junior Engineer plus Designer.

Requirements:
• 4+ years of professional React Native development;
• Experience with mobile app development (e.g. cross-platform frameworks or native app development);
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes;
• Strong understanding of web application architecture;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Eagerness to learn, desire to mentor other team members;
• Ability to work in multicultural and international environments;
• English — Upper-Intermediate.

As a plus:
• Experience with deploying mobile apps to app stores;
• Familiarity with relational databases;
• Experience with client-side development;
• Experience with AWS or an alternative cloud environment.

Responsibilities:
• Further improvement on a client React Native app (deployed to appstore/playstore);
• To work end-to-end, also adjusting backend APIs in their serverless AWS (lambda, Node.js) stack;
• Providing innovative features to users, ranging from underlying algorithms to intuitive user interfaces;
• Maintaining product quality at a high level;
• Participation in team meetings.
