Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and multiple podcasts incl. the Tim Ferris Show with over 2+ million downloads to their episode.What You Bring:As our first QA hire, you will have the unique opportunity to establish the QA function for an AI-first SaaS start-up from the ground up, making a full impact on the quality and reliability of our platform. You bring:8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a focus on web applications and cloud-based servicesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldExperience managing long-term software development complexity in business-logic-heavy projectsExperience in test automation and end-to-end (E2E) testing at scale, including UI, API, and backend automation frameworksExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes (e.g., AWS, Git)Experience with performance testing, using monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog)Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with bug reporting systems like Jira, test case management tools like TestRail, and testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Spirent Avalanche, IX Load, or Breaking PointExperience in programmatically testing products, measuring test coverage, and implementing software QA best practicesDemonstrated ability to manage the full QA/Testing Pyramid and make solid decisions on where and how to testExcellent problem-solving skills with a focus on critical thinking and testabilityHigh product intuition and user empathy, incl. championing customer feedback post-launchExcellent English communication skills, both written and verbalSoftware project management experience, incl. use of modern project management software such as JIRA to organize epics, stories and tickets and track progressWillingness to work hard and ship product at high velocity, especially on FridaysPreferred additional qualifications:Deep proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java), proficiency in one frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue), and experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)Experience in developing Accounting or Finance related SaaS productsHow You Operate:Pragmatic: you like to move forward and make decisions based in reality (not theory).
