Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to oversee and improve our web scraping operations. This role will also involve maintaining and enhancing various microservices responsible for image transformations and data enrichment. The ideal candidate will work closely with a broader team while enjoying a high degree of independence.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Scraping Operations: Oversee and enhance our web scraping systems to ensure the efficient and accurate extraction of property listings from various sources.
• Microservices Maintenance: Maintain and improve microservices for image transformations and machine learning-based data enrichment.
• Data Management: Ensure the reliability and accuracy of data through robust processing and storage solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, front-end developers, and other team members to integrate and deploy solutions.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our systems ahead of the curve.

Requirements: 

• Experience: 5+ years of Python development experience, with a strong focus on web scraping and microservices.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of image processing tools and libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PIL).
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data enrichment techniques.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data management.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independence: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in the real estate or property rental sector.
• Prior experience with large-scale data scraping projects.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
