Vilmate is looking for a Senior Python developer, which will join an American startup, a video content management system (CMS) for B2B that can convert video into content at scale.

Vilmate ( careers.vilmate.com ) is a Ukrainian highly professional team of over 120 developers, QA and DevOps engineers, designers and managers. We have been supplying custom software to North American and Western European clients since 2012 and have a strong track record in both web and mobile development.

About the client:
Our client is a leading technology company specializing in the development of a B2B video content management system (CMS) that can turn video into content at scale . Basically, they will ingest public videos, such as webinars and conversations, with the help of artificial intelligence, automatically glue them together and make the video clips semantically searchable. They want to use generative AI to turn these video clips into content that will be contextual based on the medium it is placed in (LinkedIn, Instagram, blog, SEO post, etc.). The app helps marketing teams repurpose long videos into full-fledged funnels ready for sales and marketing campaigns.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop the back-end part of the web application.
• Design and implement large-scale data pipelines for training state-of-the-art models.
• Scale model output and predictions at scale.
• Work at all stages of the product life cycle - from concept development to production.
• Design and prototype search engines, work on a range of tasks including generating useful density vectors and permutations.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of proven experience as a back-end engineer < /b> with a focus on the development of scalable systems and APIs.
• High level of knowledge of Python .
• Experience with FastAPI.
• High level of knowledge of MongoDB.
• High level of knowledge of GCP (Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Function).
• Knowledge of the English language at the Upper-Intermediate level or higher .

As a plus:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Experience with deep learning neural methods and machine learning .
• Experience implementing ML-based search engines such as query classification, recommendation, embedding-based search or machine learning ranking (MLR) .
• Previous experience with ML frameworks such as Pytorch, Tensorflow .
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark etc.
• Experience with OpenAI.
• Experience with VectorDB.
• Experience with ElasticSearch.
