Our customer is an extremely fast-growing B2B marketplace changing how the global jewellery industry operates, headquartered in London with offices in Mumbai, New York, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Antwerp and Amsterdam. They connect buyers and sellers of jewellery on the online platform and facilitate the most transparent, efficient and cost-effective way for the jewellery industry to sell and buy jewellery.

The company’s sales have grown over 250% in the last 12 months, and the team has grown from 30 to over 280 internationally. This is a global team that can always be trusted, driven to make big and bold moves to transform a traditional industry.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join the team and shape the digital products’ user experience. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the user research team to inform design decisions for mobile and web platforms, with a preference for experience in B2B or B2B2C design.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to understand project goals and requirements
• Conduct and contribute to user research activities to gather insights that inform the design process
• Plan and execute design validation through usability testing, ensuring that user feedback is incorporated into the design iteration process
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for responsive web and native mobile applications
• Drive the progress of the SaaS vertical and its product suite
• Design and iterate on features for a B2B2C marketplace in order to power the next generation of jewellery businesses
• Deliver high-quality visual design assets and specifications for both mobile and web implementation
• Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system, ensuring consistency across all digital products
• Ensure implemented designs are monitored for success by driving the measurement of user behaviour through product analytics and other quantifiable research practices
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and apply them to your design work

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on 2-sided digital platforms
• Proven experience conducting user research and using insights to drive design decisions
• Experience planning and conducting usability testing for design validation
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, with an emphasis on marketplace products
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools
• Demonstrated ability to deliver components for and contribute to a design system
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strongunderstanding of UX/UI principles and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Good spoken and written English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher
