Powering growth for customers ranging from aspiring entrepreneurs in emerging markets to the world’s leading brands like Airbnb, Amazon, Google and Upwork, our client makes global commerce easy, secure and delightful.Responsibilities:Lead the design of complex financial technology products, ensuring they are user-friendly, effective, and aligned with business goalsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, business, and marketing, to create holistic design solutionsLead all design related activities for a specific domain (Design sprints, workshops, brainstorming sessions, presentations, etc.)Conduct user research and usability studies to understand customer needs, pain points, and behaviors in collaboration with the research teamTranslate research findings into design decisions, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designsChampion a user-centered design approach, advocating for the end-user in all design discussionsWork closely with the R&D team to ensure the final product meets visual standards when shipped to customersProvide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the design teamStay abreast of competitor experiences, industry trends, and emerging technologies in financial technology and designRequirements:Minimum of 8 years of experience in product design (bonus points if in the financial technology sector)Experience in design for both web and mobile native platformsStrong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design and a deep understanding of design principlesProficiency in design tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping toolsExperience with user research methodologies and usability testingExcellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and presentation skills – written, verbal and visual (English, Russian – Advantage)Basic technical understanding of web and mobile platformsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related fieldDesirable:Strong commitment to advocating for and implementing Accessibility Guidelines and embracing Inclusive Design practicesProficiency in complementary areas such as User Research, UX Writing, Prototyping, and Service Design, contributing to a holistic design approachDemonstrated track record in successfully navigating rapid, iterative design and development processes, ensuring adaptability and responsivenessExtensive experience tackling large-scale, complex, and ambiguous projects across multifunctional teams, showcasing an ability to thrive in challenging environmentsWhat's in it for you?Care: your mental and physical health is our priority.
