The role involves building business cases using internal data, external market trends, and competitive insights to drive pricing decisions. You will analyze the impact of pricing experiments, such as introducing free trials, subscription tiers, or discounts, and provide actionable recommendations to improve key business metrics like customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value (LTV).Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & InsightsLeverage internal and external data to develop models and forecasts that evaluate pricing and monetization strategiesUse statistical and predictive modeling techniques to assess the impacts of pricing decisions on metrics such as ARPU, churn, and LTVConduct pre- and post-implementation analyses of pricing and monetization changes to measure their effects on revenue, user acquisition, and retentionMaintain detailed reporting systems to monitor the performance of monetization activities, providing actionable insights for future improvementsBusiness Case DevelopmentBuild comprehensive business cases for pricing and monetization experiments, integrating data analysis and market researchCreate and implement pricing tactics for app subscriptions, complementary subscriptions, and add-ons, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trendsEvaluate and optimize pricing strategies across models, including one-time purchases, tiered subscriptions, freemium offerings, and in-app purchasesDevelop pricing strategies for lifecycle offers, tailored to various stages of the user journey (introductory offers, mid-life discounts, or end-of-life deals), as well as for seasonal sales to boost revenue during peak periodsIdentify opportunities to optimize pricing for different geographic regions and user segments to maximize profitabilityCollaboration & CommunicationCollaborate with Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to validate assumptions and align on business goalsPresent findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear and actionable formats (e.g., reports, dashboards, presentations)Professional RequirementsAt least 4 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, expertise in pricing strategy will be preferredExperience in the mobile app industry with a focus on subscription-based B2C applications.
