Senior .NET developer in SoftPositive

We're looking for a senior developer who will join our client's team in the US (remotely) to play a crucial role in the creation of a high-performance platform. You are not new to this situation. You have already taken the lead in developing features that have been released to production, and you have supported your code after it has been released, so you are aware of the requirements for writing code that operates in the real world (testing, logging, fault tolerance, high availability).
 

Responsibilities

• Implement new features into the platform.
• Implement tax laws into code for the IRS and various state governments.
• Work with tax analysts and CPAs to clarify requirements.
• Drive end-to-end software development from design through deployment and post-deployment improvements.
• Writing high-quality code to make tax filing easy for our customers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of .NET software development experience across the full life cycle (including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and post-production support).
• Unit testing experience.
• Familiarity with microservices architectures and patterns.
• Experience working in a continuous testing and delivery environment.
• Good spoken English

• JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience in financial service or fintech
