Short Description for Internal Candidates

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission Programme Officer (MHPSS) and the direct supervision of the ?National MHPSS Officer, the incumbent will coordinate the implementation of IOM's Mental Health and Psychosocial ?Programme activities in different regions across Ukraine.

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates

  1. Support the coordination and monitoring of the implementation of IOM MHPSS community-based?programme activities across several oblasts, maintaining alignment with programme goals and timelines.

2. Support and follow up on the work of implementing partners, promptly reporting any instances of noncompliance ?or challenges to the supervisor.

3. Support the planning, implementation, and tracking of project components.

4. Support in the development and monitoring of the team's activity plan based on identified needs, ?facilitating smooth implementation and addressing bottlenecks or delays.

5. Provide accurate and timely reporting on team activities, maintaining close communication with ?relevant colleagues to address any issues that arise.

6. Maintain coordination and partnerships with other IOM units, local authorities, civil society ?organizations, including local non-governmental organizations, faith-based organizations, women's and ?youth groups, and parents and teachers' associations, as they relate to the work of the team to support ?programme reach and impact.

7. Work closely with implementing partners, participate in quality verification and monitoring of partner ?activities, and support delivery of trainings according to the capacity building plan.

8. Support the management and documentation of programme assets, materials and spaces, keeping ?inventories, attendance sheets, logbooks and other administrative records.

9. Monitor visibility and branding in all team activities, following IOM guidelines.

10. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications for Internal Candidates

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least six years of relevant experience;or,
  • Bachelor's degree in clinical, counselling, social or educational psychology, counselling, anthropology, mental health, humanities or social sciences from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant work experience

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience supporting Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) programmes (required), with supervisory roles (desirable).
  • Previous experience working with beneficiaries' data management, reporting on project activities while respecting data protection and management guidelines (required).
  • Experience in community-based team supervision, monitoring and evaluation (desirable).
  • Experience working in accordance with the Interagency Standing Committee (IASC) guidelines on MHPSS in emergency settings (desirable).
  • Experience liaising with different government authorities at local level (desirable).

SKILLS

  • Communication skills with a wide range of people, including people of culturally diverse backgrounds.

Languages

For this position, fluency in English and Ukrainian is required.
