Senior Java Engineer, Solutions (Payments) in PandaDoc

Payment gateways, subscription management, installments, invoices, and payments management, are amongst the many challenges of this team.Our main goal is to bring new revenue by increasing the volume of payments made through PandaDoc. In our Track, we care about our customers and we strive to help them succeed in their business.In This Role, You WillParticipate in the whole development process: backlog refinement, coding, testing, and releasing product featuresWork in a cross-functional team of 4-5 engineers and collaborate with designers, product managers, engineering managers, and other teams to understand product vision and deliver featuresBuild, maintain and improve the application architecture and performanceActively collaborate with product managers and scrum mastersFollow and contribute to agile development processes (LeSS framework)Our StackService-oriented architectureTwo main stacks: Java and PythonJava services based on Spring Boot with custom extensions, Java 17, and Gradle as a build toolAWSDocker, KubernetesThe main cross-service communication transports are NATS, Kafka, and RabbitMQPostgreSQL, RedisGrafana observability stack for monitoring and alertingAbout You4+ years of development experience with JavaStrong understanding of SpringComfortable with relational database conceptsExperience in microservice architecturesPassionate for new technologies and ready to implement strategic initiatives to help the team reach its goalsEnjoy working with a stack agnostic approachCommunicate effectively in English, both spoken and writtenCompany OverviewPandaDoc empowers more than 50,000 growing organizations to thrive by taking the work out of document workflow.
