Impressit is looking for a highly skilled Senior Golang Engineer for our British customer - one of the world's largest oil and gas companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI development, backend coding, and cloud technologies.

The Carbon Management Coalition is a dynamic cross-collaboration between IT and business units aimed at driving value and efficiency from digital investments in Carbon Management. We aim to streamline decarbonization initiatives by providing scalable, reusable data models, platform infrastructure, and shared components, such as carbon calculators.

— 5+ years of experience in building and deploying production-level applications using Golang.
— Strong experience with Kafka, including setting up and configuring.
— Deep understanding of microservices architecture, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and scaling microservices.
— Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and others relevant to cloud-native application development.
— Experience with GraphQL, including designing and implementing APIs for flexible data retrieval.
— Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
— Experience in a tech lead role, with the ability to guide and mentor a team of engineers, is preferred.
— Upper-intermediate or a higher level of English.
