About the project:

Established in 2014, this independent State agency is dedicated to improving the wellbeing and outcomes for children in Ireland. It integrates services from various sectors, including child protection, family support, educational welfare, psychological services, and responses to domestic and gender-based violence. The agency emphasizes the importance of families in creating strong, healthy communities and prioritizes partnership and cooperation to deliver seamless services to children and families.

Tech stack: .NET 8, ASP.NET Zero as a development framework for a modern UI and SOLID architecture, Kendo Angular controls as a framework for streamlined development, Angular 13+ as a web application framework, Azure Devops as a full-service framework for repositories, pipelines and release management etc.

Timezone requirements: UK/CET time zone

Location requirements: EU only

Interviewing approach: 1 our internal tech interview + 1-2 client interviews

English: Fluent

A certificate under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages at level C2 or C1 or its equivalent is a bonus.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in backend development using C#/.NET technologies.
• Expert experience developing Angular solutions.
• Expert experience using Azure DevOps for SDLC, CI/CD.
• Experience working with SQL Server
• Experience working in an Agile Development Environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET 6 / Angular software projects.
• Extend the functionality of existing .NET applications .
• Collaborate with a blended team of developers, DBAs, and business analysts in an Agile environment.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and daily stand-up meetings.
• Develop REST API solutions to ensure interoperability with external systems.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for the entire software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and release management.
