The ideal candidate will have experience in fintech or possess a strong background with secure integrations into partner ecosystems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient applications that are crucial to our platform. What you'll do:Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using Django, React, and PostgreSQLDesign and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services to enhance our platform's capabilitiesCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and other engineering teams, to deliver high-quality solutionsOptimize and maintain existing codebases for performance, scalability, and reliabilityParticipate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvementEnsure adherence to best practices in software development, including test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD)Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for both internal and external stakeholdersStay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure our technology stack remains current and robust What you need:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on full-stack developmentProficiency with Django for backend development and React for frontend development.In-depth experience with PostgreSQL and database design best practicesStrong understanding of RESTful API design and developmentExperience with fintech solutions or as an Integration Engineer, including integration with various third-party APIsThorough understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelinesExceptional problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues across the stackStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated experience in mentoring and leading other engineersHigh level of English Nice to haves:Experience with AWSFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection.Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the fintech industry.Experience with modern development tools and methodologies such as GraphQL, WebSockets, and microservices architecture What we offer:💸 Competitive compensation dependent on experience and skills👭 A friendly team of like-minded individuals🤒 Compensation for sick leave🌴 21 working days of paid vacation, plus all Polish national holidays🎉 Corporate events and activities🩺 Private medical care (for residents in Poland)🧩 Opportunities for learning and developmentAbout Fireart StudioFireart Studio is a boutique design and software development company based in Poland.
