We are an established nutrition app on a mission to make it easier for people to live a healthier life through a balanced diet. Our app, available on iOS and Android, is used by thousands of people every day and we're growing our team to take our app to the next level.
We are seeking an exceptional full-stack developer to join our small team of four on a full time basis. We prefer candidates seeking a steady, long term working relationship. Hours are flexible though meaningful overlap with USA timezones are preferred, especially in the beginning of the relationship as you onboard.

Frontend: Flutter
Backend: fastapi (python)
Databases: postgresql and mongodb
Skills you'll bring:
* At least 3+ years experience developing in one of these frameworks Flutter, React, or React Native. Please be prepared to share a portfolio of your work.
* At least 2+ years of backend experience developing in python
* Proficiency with GitHub: creating branches, pull requests, and using pull requests for code review.
* Attention to detail when reading ticket specifications and building product. To demonstrate your attention to detail, when applying for this position be sure to share what your favorite sport is.
* Strong written English. We primarily operate in Slack, Linear, and Github. You should feel comfortable asking questions, seeking clarification, and posting updates in our team channels.
* Proactive communicator and collaborator. We are a fully remote company and this model only works when all team members proactively engage each other provide support, ask and answer questions, pair on code and reviews, and generally enjoy being a team player.
* Ownership mindset. The right candidate takes responsibility for their code and the outcomes it achieves and enjoys being empowered to make the decisions that will lead to those outcomes.
Requirements:
* Candidates will undergo a technical screening with our CTO in which you complete a short ful-lstack assignment in the frameworks you know. The screening will take no more than one hour.
