Senior Frontend Engineer (IRC237225) in GlobalLogic Ukraine

Our Client is a leading telecommunications and internet service provider based in Japan. It offers various innovative solutions, including network services, cloud computing, and security solutions, to businesses and individuals. By leveraging the technological expertise gained through providing Internet connectivity services, the company has expanded its business portfolio as a total solutions provider, offering outsourcing services that include cloud computing, Wide-Area Network (WAN) services, systems integration services, and more.
Moving all information online has necessitated expanding its cloud service capabilities to remain competitive with other leading market players in this field. To meet this demand, a set of our projects will focus on extending these services’ capabilities and functionalities, including developing new modules and more.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Frontend Developer with 2+ years in a Senior role;
• Extensive experience in ReactJs, HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and other frontend technologies with the expertise to fuse these with modern web development practices;
• Experience with building front-end applications (Nodejs, Angularjs, Vuejs) using RESTful from scratch;
• Hands-on experience in reviewing and implementing application design principles (SOLID) and design patterns to start building a new application from scratch;
• Good understanding of CI/CD;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in the English language and ability to work as a standalone unit in close cooperation with the Client;
• Excellent technical documentation development skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• Strong attention to details, goal-oriented, proactive;
• Flexibility in tasks performance, maintaining priorities and respecting deadlines;
• Strong ability to mentor a team of developers;

Experience with testing frameworks in UI will be a plus;
Full-stack experience (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) will be a plus;
Web security experience will be a plus

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of cloud services, and excellent communication skills to effectively present demos to Clients and mentor other developers.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Be a part of a cross-functional, full-stack agile development team, overseeing project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality features and solutions;
• Be a top-notch coder on the team, capable of deep-diving into implementation details of components and features across the frontend technology stacks;
• Close cooperation with the Client team regularly, fully driving the frontend service creation;
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment;
• Gather and analyze Clients’ requirements, translating them into actionabletechnical specifications;
• Effectively present project demos and updates to the Client, ensuring clear communication of technical details and project progress;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management (to understand and propose the requirements and recommend best implementation approaches to maximize the use of technology and capabilities), UI/UX, QA, and operations to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features;
• Design and develop new features and support existing components.
