Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our client’s mission-driven team. In this role, you will lead the development of user-facing features and interfaces, ensuring seamless and accessible user experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within a dynamic, innovative environment and contribute to projects that make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

    •    Take primary responsibility for the frontend application development.

    •    Lead technical initiatives, setting best practices and guiding less experienced developers.

    •    Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    •    Implement and refine UI components, ensuring adherence to accessibility best practices.

    •    Refactor and review code to ensure high-quality, maintainable software.

    •    Continuously improve existing codebases without full system rewrites.

    •    Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces.

    •    Propose and implement innovative UI/UX design ideas.

    •    Optimize application performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

    •    5+ years of experience with Angular, TypeScript, and SCSS.

    •    Experience with Webpack plugins and upgrading Angular versions.

    •    Proficiency in frontend software development best practices (coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing).

    •    Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

    •    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    •    Ability to manage projects from scoping to launch.

    •    Ability to implement UI/UX designs and create functional, accessible visual elements.

Advantages:

    •    B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

    •    Knowledge of backend development (C#).

    •    Experience with other frameworks (e.g., React).

    •    Experience in writing browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox, Edge).

    •    Familiarity with theme styling applications and jQuery.
