Senior Flutter Developer

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Flutter Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, robust, and scalable mobile applications using Flutter, while also leveraging your expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support the integration of spatial data and mapping functionalities. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of Flutter, mobile app development, and be able to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Location — Ukraine, Poland.

Working hours — up to 2 PM EST (8 PM Polish time).

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Flutter mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to define, design, and deliver new features and functionalities.
• Implement GIS components and spatial data processing functionalities using GIS libraries and APIs, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Maps.
• Perform efficient geospatial data management, including data collection, storage, analysis, and visualization.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Continuously monitor and optimize application performance, stability, and usability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Flutter and GIS development.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geospatial Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mobile app development using Flutter and Dart.
• Strong knowledge of GIS principles, spatial data processing, and geospatial data management.
• Proficiency in using GIS software and APIs, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Maps.
• Familiarity with mobile app design patterns, such as MVVM or BLoC.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and other web services integration.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other mapping libraries, such as Leaflet or Mapbox.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Jira.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
