Senior expert on strategic planning in NAK Naftogaz Ukrayini

Naftogaz Group – the largest a state-owned group of companies of the fuel and energy complex in Ukraine. Our enterprises carry out a full cycle of work on the exploration and development of gas fields, extract, process, store and ensure the transit of hydrocarbons and supply blue fuel to the homes of Ukrainians and infrastructure facilities. Naftogaz of Ukraine invites a qualified senior expert to join the strategic planning and business analysis team. We are looking for a professional who will help us in forming financial models, conducting economic calculations and analyzing new business opportunities.

Main duties:

• Development of financial and economic models, implementation of economic calculations of strategic initiatives.
• Preparation of long-term forecasts of key operational and financial indicators of the company, as well as its divisions.
• Conducting market research and analysis of new business opportunities.
• Statistical analysis of data and forecasting of indicators using statistical methods.
• Analysis of operational indicators, preparation of regular reports and information panels to assess the effectiveness of the implementation of strategic documents.
• Participation in projects aimed at improving the operational efficiency of the Naftogaz Group.
• Preparation of regular and special thematic internal reviews, analytical materials and presentations for the company's management.

< strong>Requirements for the candidate:

• At least 3 years of work experience in the fields of: consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Big4, etc.), investment banking (Dragon Capital, foreign banks) or in the departments of strategy and investment management in leading energy and oil and gas companies of Ukraine and international companies.
• Higher education in economics, finance, mathematics or engineering.
• Professional mastery of MS Office programs (Word , Excel, PowerPoint); skills in working with Bloomberg, Thompson Reuters, Think Cell will be an advantage; knowledge of Power BI is an additional advantage.
• Experience in financial and economic analysis, financial and mathematical modeling, evaluation of the effectiveness of investment projects.
• Knowledge of corporate finance and/or business valuation.

• Experience in macroeconomic and microeconomic analysis, preparation of financial reports in accordance with international standards.
• High skills in presenting material and writing reports.
• Ability to apply non-traditional approaches to solving problems and effectively combine them with everyday tasks.
• Ability to maintain high efficiency when working under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work after hours as needed.
• High analytical skills.
• The presence of an international education, MBA, CFA, ACCA or CPA certifications will be an advantage.
