Responsibilities:

1. Development of embedded systems

• Development, optimization and debugging of firmware for BpAK and ground stations.
• Working with STM32, ESP32 microcontrollers, peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN), RTOS (FreeRTOS).
• Integration of sensors, radio modules, communication protocols (ELRS, TBS Crossfire, MAVLink).
• Creation of firmware architecture taking into account energy efficiency, stability and scalability.

2. Bringing solutions from prototypes to series

• Cooperation with the hardware team on technical integration.
• Bench and flight testing, log analysis, troubleshooting.
• Scaling ready firmware solutions for production and operation.

3. Coordination and technical leadership.authorities with R&D management.

4. Quality control and testing

• Using unit tests, hardware-in-the-loop simulations, CI/CD.
• Measuring firmware stability, reducing the frequency of test failures.
• Assessing the performance of solutions and implementing technical improvements.

5. Documentation and technical transfer

• Preparation of technical documentation: schemes, release notes, changelogs.
• Transfer to production of all necessary materials for serial launch.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher technical education (electronics, systems engineering, automation, etc.).
• Experience in working with STM32, ESP32, peripherals (FreeRTOS or analogues).
• Understanding ArduPilot / PX4, MAVLink, telemetry link.
• Knowledge of PCB design/layout principles, ability to read electrical diagrams.
• Practical experience with measuring equipment — oscilloscope, TinySA, LiteVNA — for signal diagnostics and prototype testing.
• Knowledge of Git tools, CMake, CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding the basics of video transmission (analog/digital), types of antennas and frequency ranges.

Would be an advantage:?

• Experience in flight tests, telemetry analysis and logs.
• Knowledge of Python for developing scripts and test utilities.
• Experience in mil-tech, robotics or aerospace.
• Experience managing a small team or mentoring.
