Senior DevOps Engineer (Ukraine/Poland) in Adaptiq

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our R&D team. You will build, maintain, and monitor the infrastructure of our products. Our applications run on AWS, with a micro-service architecture using Docker and Kubernetes for deployment, management, and orchestration. Key responsibilities

• Being responsible for DevOps activities such as supporting new features and services, software releases and troubleshooting problems.
• Being responsible for building, maintaining and monitoring the infrastructure of the products
• Working closely with R&D team leaders and developers
• Being responsible  for the availability, performance, monitoring, emergency response and capacity planning of the production environments (there are  weeklies on-calls rotations)
• Architect new solutions for challenging infrastructure and application problems we face with our unique product
• Combine the latest open-source and commercial technologies to build and improve services
• Impact the business through technology and new ideas

Required Competence and Skills:

• 5+ years experience in DevOps area - Must 
• 3+ years experience in maintaining production environments - Must
• 2+ years experience with Terraform - Must
• 2+ years experience with Kubernetes: AWS EKS; experience in upgrading EKS clusters; working with ingress controllers (ingress-nginx or aws-load balancer-controller) - Must
• 2+ years experience with CI/CD (CircleCI, Jenkins,GitLab CI, etc - Must

• Experience with alerting and monitoring (Grafana/Prometheus/AlertManager) - Advantage
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis and Relational databases - Advantage
• Hands-on experience with ElasticSearch & Kibana - Advantage
